NYSL Promotions Traveling to California to Network and Connect with Mentors

In a few weeks, our leaders at NYSL Promotions will be traveling to California, where they will meet with one of our national managers. This will be an amazing opportunity for them to network and learn from the best, who have advanced to a national level.

During their time in sunny California, our leaders will really see the scope of possibility a career with NYSL Promotions offers, and what they should be doing to achieve that level of growth themselves. It’s an exciting chance for them to make themselves known to the best in our business – a phenomenal networking opportunity!

As part of the networking process, they will meet an array of possible mentors. If our colleagues connect meaningfully with any of these individuals, there is potential to build an enduring and mutually beneficial mentor/mentee relationship.

Mentors are invaluable. They offer support and advice, assist with the development of career goals and strategies for reaching them, and offer unique perspectives. We’re not exaggerating when we say that, with a mentor, the learning never ends. They are positively influenced by these relationships, too. Some mentors simply feel good about helping people, while others perceive their guidance as a means of leaving a legacy. As the wards become more accomplished, they can assist their teachers with special projects and other responsibilities as well.

If you don’t already have a mentor or mentee, we urge you to think of someone in your network who might benefit from such a relationship. Identify how you might be impacted as well. There’s a pretty good chance that a mentor/mentee connection would significantly enrich your career.
